An instructor at university of Baghdad wins first place in the 3rd Husseini conference


Prof. Dr. Uhood Abdul wahed al-Aqaili, an instructor at the department of Arabic language, college of education-Ibn Rushd participated in the 3rd Husseini feminist conference held by the holy Alawi threshold under the slogan (the role the believer from the right revolution to the right state) where the department of women’s affairs-division of studies and researches held its third feminist conference at the hall of master of guardians (PBH) in the presence of academic, educational and social female characters and a gathering of students from the faculties in Najaf. A large group of researchers from different universities and cities of Iraq participated also for the noble values of this conference and to follow the sincere approach of prophecy. University of Baghdad had a distinguished and an active presence for enriching it through the research submitted by Dr. al-Aqaili whose paper, entitled (the religious woman between modesty and strong character: an analytical reading of texts and reality) won the first rank in a scientific competition involving more than (20) specialized papers. The researcher reached at some important results, namely that there is no intersection of modesty and strong character, but they are complementary to one another to highlight women’s capacities and her impact in community across different times. There is a need to meditate the elaborated texts and follow Ahl Al-Bait (PBH)  who are our good references since God has given to women the ability to seek change so that to build new generations that are worth of succession of land. The researcher stated that she is proud for attaining this honor and this is the second time she won the first place for she had participated previously in the same conference in its 2nd session through her paper entitled (two female heroes who defeated two tyrants).
