Under the auspices of the president of Baghdad university, prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasul and under the slogan (towards university of Baghdad governed electronically and educationally), Ibn Sina center held a symposium for e-learning entitled (methods of using web technologies no. 2 in e-learning, building electronic Matrix and scientific repositories). The symposium was attended by assistant rector for scientific affairs, assistant prof. Dr. Osama Abdul Latif Fadel and a number of university professors and staff. The director of the Ibn Sina center, Dr. Mohammed Sadiq stressed that this symposium would be held within a series of symposia arranged by the center at the hall of Mahdi Hantoush at the college of engineering. It is worth mentioned that the rapid widespread use of the internet led to the emergence of many concepts including e-learning and Edmodo in this regard.
