First vice-chairman of parliament visits the college of law

  The first vice-chairman of the Iraqi parliament, Dr. Humam hammoudi visited the college of law at university of Baghdad and was received by the dean, assistant prof. Dr. Ali Mutashar Abdul al-Saheb. During the visit a review was made concerning the curricula taught in law schools and the amount of the change after 2003 and the change that happened of these curricula through the influence of Sharia and Islamic Fiqh. Dr. Hamoudi called for the attention to Fiqh curricula in parallel to law curricula to avoid any legislative conflict or using ready experiments that may not be in line with reality. Also he stressed the importance of universities’ role in deepening the intellectual values among generations, as well as he visited the museum of the college and attended M.A discussion. At the conclusion of his visit, Dr. Hamoudi expressed his thanks to the deanery and staff, wishing them continued success for serving our dear country.
