Symposium on plastic and nylon impact on man and environment at the faculty of science for women


Department of chemistry at the faculty of science for women, Baghdad University sponsored directly by the dean, Prof. Dr. Ahlam Mohammed Farhan, in collaboration with the Association named (Together for protection of man and environment) held a scientific symposium on plastic and nylon and their impact on man and environment. The symposium included four lectures given by a number of professors of physics about the migration of the components of plastic material to food as well as discussing the use of bioremediation for disposal of plastics and the biological methods used to get rid of household plastic waste. At the conclusion of the symposium, the engineer “Saadia Fleih Hasson”, president of the association delivered a lecture on sustainable development and its impact on health and the environment.
