Professors at the department of oil engineering participate in a scientific symposium at Nahrain University
A delegation from the department of oil engineering at the faculty of engineering at University of Baghdad participated in the scientific symposium entitled “natural origin radioactive materials in oil industry” held by the department of chemical engineering at Nahrain University under the auspices of its president, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kadhim Abdul Sahib. Dr. Nada Sabah participated in this symposium along with two engineering professors where they delivered two lectures dealt with” natural origin radioactive materials in oil and gas industry”. A number of recommendations were forwarded to the ministry of higher education and scientific research about the effect of these radioactive materials on the safety of workers and on environment as well as how to handle these radioactive materials.
