Scholar student to Russia supplies the natural history museum with archaeological samples


Assistant Prof. Dr. Amer Hussein Mutib, director of the natural history museum and research center at Baghdad University honored the student (Ahmed Saeed Yassin) who had a scholarship to University of Moscow, Russia with a discretionary certificate and thank letter for he supplied the natural history museum with some samples of fossils aged (5 million to 395 million years old) dating back to different geological ages found in different areas in Russia, United States, Morocco and other parts of the world donated to the museum as tribute to the memory of deported Iraqi scientists and professors and in recognition to those present and this museum tried repeatedly to get these samples but Ahmed took upon himself to purchase them to support the museum. It is worth mentioned that Ahmed Saeed Yassin graduated from University of Baghdad, worked at Qadisiyah University and awarded scholarship to Russia to complete doctorate in biological sciences.
