Within the events of University of Baghdad to commemorate World Day of Peace, a celebration was held in the hall of the central library at Baghdad University presidency sponsored by the secretariat of the central library, whereas the participation of the faculty of political science represented by the attendance of the associate dean for scientific affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Farah Thia Mubarak, director of scientific and cultural relations unit, Assistant teacher Lara Hussein Ali, director of staff unit at the college Assistant teacher Abeer Mohammed Abid. The ceremony included the speech of the director of the central library administrator, reciting poems about peace as well as playing music by a band of the college of fine arts. At the end of the ceremony, the audience lit candles and wished that peace would return to Baghdad and Iraq as a whole.
