University of Baghdad embraces a festival named “our popular crowd wins” established by the popular crowd at al-Hakim hall in the presence of the president of University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasul and Secretary General of Ahl al-Haq headbands movement, Sheikh Qais al-khazaali and a huge gathering including politicians, security officials, professors, students, selected journalists and representatives of civil organizations. In his speech, the president of Baghdad University stressed on the victories reached at by our heroes on the criminal ISIS gangs in Nineveh and expressed his gratitude to the security forces and the sons of the popular crowd who fight and sacrifice their souls for doctrine and the principle of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in combatting injustice. He added that our popular crowd came at the call of the Supreme reference to save Iraq from imminent danger so the students should also fight for science and Knowledge. Sheikh al-khazaali lauded during his speech the role of science in building our homeland and to strive to promote the cultural and scientific reality.
