His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak al-Essa received the proffesors Nigel Bax and Deborah Bax from University of Sheffield and Chairman of British Cultural Council in Iraq, Marc Jessel in the presence of the dean of the college of medicine, Prof. Dr. Ali al-Shalji and director of medical education at the college of medicine, Assistant Prof. Dr. Hilal al-Safar. His Excellency the minister praised the efforts of the British team and their support for the medical schools in Iraq after a number of conventions in this regard in order to enhance the educational process in all its various specializations and to keep up with British universities according to modern curricula adopted in the field of medicine and surgery. It is worth mentioned that the minister of health and environment, Dr. Adela Hmoud Hussein had received this British delegation with the participation of the dean of the faculty of medicine where they praised these efforts for the sake of supporting the medical and nursing reality in Iraq to be in line with modern international medical standards.
