Department of radio and television journalism at the faculty of media held a scientific lecture entitled (The image of the messenger of Allah (PBUH) in the American media) on the occasion of his holy birth delivered by Assistant Prof. Dr. Tariq Ali Mahmoud and in the presence of a number of professors and students. The lectured addressed the leading role of the personality of the prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and how to reflect a positive image about Islam to global media. The essential aim of the lecture is to educate the promising generation of journalists to perform their influence on media for the sake of changing the stereotype of Islam left by the terrorist organizations.
