Department of pediatric and preventive dentistry at the college of dentistry, University of Baghdad held a seminar attended by head of department Assistant Prof. Dr. Nada Jafar al-Sheikh Radhi that included delivering several lectures by professors where Assistant Prof. Dr. Baida Ahmed Yas talked about “computer analysis of plates using dental scan system (3rd generation)” in order to analyze the time and strength of relative plates using pressure sensor device inside the mouth so that to store data on the hard drive. This system measures the percentage of force change to the maximum plates which is an accurate and a very sensitive way. Dr. Mohammed Qahtan Ismail gave a lecture on (advanced properties of the writing program of Office package) and how to use the electronic correction without any need to use paper, especially when writing a thesis. He recommended continuous training for instructors on this program. Also Dr. Mohammed Ghaleb Razuki gave a lecture on (new version of SPSS program) where he talked about this new version (21 & 22) which is faster, easier and less time consuming especially through the use of (Modeler Viewer).
