Department of accounting at the faculty of administration and economics, University of Baghdad organized a seminar to discuss a paper presented by teacher Dr. Nada Kaki Birah entitled “Evaluation of methods of converting family companies to publicly shareholding companies from the accounting standpoint”. The aim of this seminar was to highlight such family companies and their role in business market which are widely dispersed in all world countries particularly between medium and small-sized enterprises. This event addressed some challenges in this regard and economic feasibility in order to safeguard shareholder interests and stabilize the financial market.
