American Chemical Society chooses an instructor from University of Baghdad as representative in Iraq


American Chemical Society (ACS) has chosen an instructor from the department of chemistry at the faculty of education for pure science (Ibn al-Haitham), University of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Taghreed Hashim al-Nour as its accredited representative in Iraq due to her scientific and academic activities. His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak al-Issa granted her a book of thanks and appreciation for her outstanding efforts in the field of scientific research. It is worth mentioned that ACS is a non-profit scientific association in USA that supports scientific research in chemistry that was founded in University of New York in 1876 as the world’s largest scientific society of documented information chemistry.
