Dr. Fawzia Musa Ghanim, an instructor from the faculty of Islamic sciences, University of Baghdad participated in the 1st global conference for English language teaching held in the University of Arizona, USA by delivering a lecture on the importance of interaction and communication in English language teaching as well as participating in TESOL (teaching English for non-speakers) where she was awarded with a global certificate. A joint team was formed by a number of students and graduate the first of its kind in Iraq called “English Communicational Language Team” to hold workshops and lectures on Monday and Friday at the US Forum in University of Baghdad and in Baghdadi Cultural Center/Baghdad library at Mutanbi Street.
