Dean of the college of languages, University of Baghdad, Assist. Prof. Dr. May Estivan Rizkallah received the Spanish Ambassador in Baghdad Juan José Escobar in the presence of the head of department and teaching faculty. The two sides discussed the scientific and cultural cooperation between the college, the department on one hand and the Spanish Embassy on the other hand, on the sidelines of a visit made by a delegation from Instituto Cervantes. Prof. Dr. May Rizkallah stated that the college is keen to promote cultural cooperation with the embassies of other countries in order to develop the language skills of our students, as well as to open-up prospects of participation in scientific conferences and cultural activities for teaching staff. This activity comes in the context of the college’s endeavor to operationalize cultural agreements between University of Baghdad and state embassies.
