Arab and Danish theatrical delegations visit the college of fine arts at the university of Baghdad

A delegation from several Arab countries participated in theatrical Baghdad festival on the occasion of selecting Baghdad as the capital of Arab culture. The delegation visited the college of fine arts at the university of Baghdad to keep a breast of the theatrical activities, halls and other theatrical and artistic performances at the college. The visiting delegation made a tour in the departments and expressed their admiration for the laboratories, auditoriums and the supplies provided by the college for the students which contribute to develop their artistic and academic abilities, besides keeping a breast of music, television and film works that are related to the art of calligraphy, decoration and design. The delegation that represented figures from Syria, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco visited the theater of pioneers in ​​”Kasra” for theatrical arts that included many Iraqi artists who have contributed to the development of the Iraqi and Arab theater. Also a theatrical Danish delegation made a similar visit to the college of fine arts to see this academic artistic edifice in Iraq. The visiting delegation discussed with the dean of the college the similarities and the differences between Arab and Western cultures,  prospects for open technical cooperation between Iraq and Denmark in the arts in general and in theater in particular. The visiting delegation expressed a great pleasure for the existence of this ancient college which is an advanced symbol and sample for the the academic fine arts whose scientific curricula converge with that of its global counterparts.
