Two students from the university of Baghdad participate in a conference  at Oklahoma, USA


The conference of the organization of nursing at the state of Oklahoma, U.S.A, entertained two Iraqi scholar students from the college of nursing at the university of Baghdad for phd. where (Sadiq Abdul Hussein) and (Haider al-Hadrawy) participated in the proceedings with a research entitled “When the trauma continues: Iraqi nurse’s ongoing search for safety & healing”. It is noteworthy that the organization of American nursing in the state of Oklahoma is a branch of the American nursing association of America. The two instructors indicated that one of the most important goals of the research is to introduce the Iraqi nurse to the world and shedding light on his tremendous efforts to serve the people of Iraq and the nursing profession in spite of the exceptional circumstances experienced by our beloved country. The research included the following themes: a brief account of the history of Iraq, a brief account of nursing, the Iraqi nurse and the nursing association of Iraq, risks and challenges faced daily by the  Iraqi nurse,  the factors that prompt the Iraqi nurse to keeps on working in spite of all the risks and the challenges and what sets him apart from his counterparts. The presentation of the researchers was considered  as successful in terms of its scientific content, performance, the importance of the subject and its scientific information.
