The department of electrical engineering organizes a scientific field trip for the students of the 4th grade

The department of electrical engineering at the college of engineering, university of Baghdad organized a scientific trip for the students of the fourth stage to the center of national control in the ministry of electricity with the presence of head of the department, assistant prof. Dr. Firas Taima and assistant prof. Dr. Ibrahim Qassem, the instructor at the department. The director of operation and control at the center and a lecturer at the department, Yasser Nazim, gave a detailed explanation of the work of the center, its functions and how to contribute in the distribution and programming of electric energy according to regions and provinces through (SCADA) system and communications. This trip contributed in increasing the students’ practical knowledge and getting out of the academic atmosphere.
