The university of Baghdad hosts the meeting of the committee of deans of civil colleges in Iraq


The college of physical education at the university of Baghdad hosted the committee of deans of civil colleges in Iraq to discuss ways to develop the scientific and educational march and the latest developments and instructions issued by the ministry of higher education and scientific research. The minutes of the meeting dealt with the instructions of the central exams at the civil and governmental colleges, twinning with civil colleges, calling for formation of joint scientific committees from the corresponding specializations in civil and governmental universities to ensure the convergence of the curriculum in a balanced and a better way from the first grade to the advanced ones, supporting the participation of professors from the governmental universities to give lectures in private ones, providing advice concerning curriculum. The committee stressed on the need to hold such meetings the deans to follow-up the progress of the educational process and preparing the necessary reports and submitting them to the department of the scientific evaluation. The meeting was attended by deans of civil and governmental colleges and head of the agency of supervision and scientific evaluation, Dr. Nabeel Hashim, head of the department of civil education, Dr. Farhan Jabbar, assistant of the head of the agency of supervision, Dr. Haider Mohammed Darwish, head of the department of quality assurance at the agency, Dr. Abdul Nasser Alek and dean of the college of physical education, prof. Dr. Riad Khalil Kammas.
