A delegation from the university of Baghdad visits federal Russia within a program for development of teaching staffs outside Iraq


The center of revival of Arabic scientific heritage at the university of Baghdad sent a group of its professors to the Russian university (Voronezh) in implementation of a program for development of teaching staffs outside Iraq approved by the ministry of higher education and scientific research. The selection of the university of Baghdad for such a visit came due to its scientific sobriety and in implementation of the joint scientific cooperation agreement between the university and the center of revival of Arabic scientific heritage. The program started with the visited made by prof. Radinov, head of the international institute at Voronezh university to discuss the key steps of this program and to visit the college of arts, keeping abreast of its departments and their curriculum where the college expressed its interest in teaching of Arabic literature and its history in case of availability of a teaching staff from Iraq. Also a visit was made to the technological academy (vsta) which is one of the oldest and the largest scientific institutions in southern federal Russia specialized in preparation of cadres for chemical and food industries according to the training program of this delegation in addition to a visit to the college of history at Voronezh university where its dean expressed his strong desire to build bridges of cooperation and assistance by hosting instructors from the university of Baghdad to contribute in teaching the history of East since the shortage of such a specialization and the intent of the college to inaugurate a new department of orientalism. At the end of the visit, prof. Radinov  presented certificates of appreciation to the delegation for its scientific efforts.
