University of Baghdad sends a group of its researchers to Malaysia within the teaching staff development program


The pioneer national center for cancer researches at the university of Baghdad participated in a program for the development of teaching and research staff in 2014 by sending a group of its professors and researchers to the university of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The scholarship program is designed to train the teaching staff through lectures, workshops and field trips that help to develop their skills and career and offering modern opportunities of teaching methods to facilitate cooperation on scientific research projects and exchange of experience in the field of education, specifically academic nursing and related health services. The program focused on these themes: health promotion in Malasia, nursing issues, qualitative research, snow ball sampling, data collection, silent mentor workshop & ceremony, in addition to keeping abreast of research activities at the university and the researches published in scientific journals and publishing houses. This comes under the new strategies pursued by the university of Baghdad in strengthening and revitalization of cultural and scientific relations with the leading international universities after reaping the fruits of this approach when gaining a distinct rank among the world major universities.
