A delegation from the college of agriculture participates in the 7th International exhibition of inventions held in Kuwait

  College of agriculture at the university of Baghdad participated in the 7th International exhibition of inventions of the Middle East held in Kuwait through its dean, professor Ali Sabah Ali al-Hassani and Dr. Hussam Jassem Bananah from the department of livestock. During this exhibition Iraq has claimed the silver medal and a diploma in agriculture and two bronze medals awarded by the international federation of inventors in the medical field. The delegation of the college of agriculture praised the efforts made by the institutions and individuals concerned to promote new innovations, calling for concerted efforts to contribute in creating a generation capable of creativity and innovation in all aspects of life, indicating the importance of youth and their positive progress in this regard. The Iraqi delegation expressed its pride towards the results achieved, that came in line with the ambitions of higher education in Iraq through focusing on talent and innovation to attain its slogan “university in service of community”. The Kuwaiti and Arab newspapers have reported these news by shedding light on the capabilities, talents and intelligence of the Iraqi participants. The exhibition was held in partnership with ESCWA technology center, the international federation of inventors, patent office of the gulf cooperation council, attended by official figures and those interested in the field of invention and entrepreneurship and other gulf institutions and bodies that are supporting it.
