The college of engineering of the university of Baghdad, Mohammed Shaker, director of sales at Quwaiti joint co. for trading & amp to deliver a lecture reviewing the equipment for measuring modern laboratories existed in international universities within the activities held in the department of electrical engineering for the academic year 2014-2015. The engineer Mohamed Shaker presented the products of the world leading companies that use these equipment in electric power, machinery, control and computing, electronics and telecommunications. The representative of the company expressed the willingness of his company to supply such equipment to that department to keep up with the latest developments in the world. Also he answered to questions and inquiries from the audience that might contribute to the achievement of scientific interest in this field. The lecture was attended by a number of faculty, students of primary and graduate studies. In another context, the department of chemical engineering at the college ogranized a symposium under the slogan (together we participate in the rationalization of energy consumption) entitled (manufacturing modern batteries and their uses) to use batteries as an alternative energy according to a global orientation towards rationalization of consumption of electric power. This invention id considered as a huge transfer in the field of batteries and super capacitors that is a field not well – developed like the field of computers and electronics. The lecture was delivered by specialised instructors and those concerned.
