Devices of the astronomy department at the college of science take photographes in HD devices and prepare to monitor a significant comet

  Devices and telescopes of the astronomy department at the college od science, university of Baghdad monitor the phases of the moon in Baghdad within the department activities. The team consisted of Dr. Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Salman, Dr. Raed Nofi Hassan, instructors at that department who took high resolution photos (2048 mega pixels) via a very developed telelescope where minute details of the moon and the north pole appeared depending on (atlas of the Moon) in the search engine (Google) where they took (48) photos but only seven photos were successful. There are a number of astronomical events anticipated in the coming days and months such as the emergence of lovgoi comet (C/2014 Q2) that would appear in South West, close to the line of sight, then it would rise in a high lighting and having bluish green aura that can be monitored in ideal conditions, particularly outside cities by a telescope of moderate intensity. Researchers and observers at the department will moniter this comet for the first time by this college in Iraq that possesses the expertise and the devises needed in this concern.
