Regulations of the second amendment for the consolidation of Arabic research, No. 51 in 1992
Based on the provisions of paragraph (2) of the article (47) of the ministry of higher education and scientific research act, No. 40 in 1988, we issued the following regulations:
Article (1)
Repeals article (4) of regulations for reinforcement of the scientific research, No. 51 in 1992 and replaced by article (2):
The relevant committees in the college or the institute evaluate a research by experts who each are granted a reward (100,000) dinars.
The researcher is granted fees for consolidation of a research as follows:
(500,000) dinars for authentic applied research.
(400,000) dinars for valuable applied research.
(500,000) dinars for authentic research.
(300,000) dinars for valuable research.
(200,000) dinars for useful research.
Article (2)
Repeals article (5) of regulations and replaced by article (5): A reward is granted for the patent holder (1,000,000) dinars for every registered patent.
Article (3)
Repeals items (I) and (ii) of article (8) of regulations and replaced by the following:
The university or the board is obliged to provide (50%) of the total cost of publication.
A reward is allocated (1,000) dinars for each page, provided not more than (250,000) dinars for each expert the university or the board make use of to evaluate the value and the worth of research for consolidation in case that the author agreed upon or not.
Article (4)
Repeals items (I) and (ii) of article (15) of regulations and replaced by article (15): A reward is granted for authors as follows:
Author of textbooks, supplementary books, references are granted a reward (1,000,000) dinars in case of getting an authentic degree.
A reward is granted (1,000) dinars per page under the article (14) of regulations for textbooks and references, provided not more than (250,000) dinars.
Article (5)
Repeals article (16) of regulations and replaced by article (16): Books included in article (15) of regulations are subjected for evaluation, scientific and linguistic review and the scientific expert is granted (1,000) per page, provided not more than (250,000) dinars while the linguistic expert is granted for (250) dinars for per page and the linguistic integrity is a condition for acceptance of the research.
Article (6)
Repeals items (I) and (ii) of article (18) of regulations and replaced by the following:
A reward is granted (2,000) dinars per page (25) of (25) lines with a rate of (10) ten words per line for textbooks, supplementary books and references on the basis of a foreign book.
The expert in charge of scientific and linguistic evaluation is granted a reward provided for in article (16) of regulations.
Article (7)
These regulations are implemented from the date of publication in the official gazette.
